This is the working privacy page for Companion Layer. It describes the small amount of data the site and the license service are expected to handle. The seller identity and contact details will be completed before live sales begin.
1. This website
The landing page is designed to work without cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social feeds, or third-party fonts. We do not build a visitor profile or sell visitor data.
2. If you buy a license
When checkout is used, the payment provider will process the payment and may receive the information needed for payment, fraud prevention, receipts, and legal records. The license service may receive a transaction reference, an email address if supplied, the selected product, and technical license data needed to issue, activate, support, or revoke access.
The payment provider's own privacy notice will apply to information it processes. We will not ask for more information than is needed to deliver and support the license.
3. License and security records
Activation requires an internet connection and a device-bound identifier. Operational records may include license status, activation time, session information, and abuse-prevention events. These records exist to make the license work and to handle refunds, chargebacks, support, and fraud.
4. Retention and requests
Records will be kept only for as long as needed for delivery, support, security, accounting, or legal obligations. Before live sales begin, this page will be completed with the responsible seller's name, postal address, contact address, retention details, and the way to request access, correction, deletion, or other rights that apply to you.
The current payment connection is for PayPal Sandbox testing. There are no cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or marketing integrations on this site.
